This program is for students who have already been introduced to fencing through our introductory series. It continues to teach fencing in a fun and structured environment. The program stresses physical development using strength, coordination, and flexibility building games. In addition, listening and concentration skills will improve. Students will continue to receive group instruction in foot and hand work, bladework, and fencing others (bouting). After few months into the program students will have the opportunity to compete at local competitions. Both Foil and Saber training are available in this program. All equipment is provided, but students are encouraged to eventually acquire their own.

Note: Starting on August 1st, 2010 The Youth beginning fencing class in Westerville  will meet twice a week .

Mondays  and Wednedasy from 6:0 to 7:00 pm with open fencing until 8:00pm  

Membership non competitive:  $60.00 for three month.

Competitive Membership:   Students wishing to compete at local , regional and Nationals tournament must pay  $60.00 for one year USFA membership plus $50.00  every three months at the beginning of each Quater.  Note the USFA annual membership is required in order to be able to fence in any USFA sanctioned tournament. Membership is good from August 1st 2010 until July 31st. 2011.   Checks for the USFA cempetitive membership must be made to the USFA.  Quarterly membership  fees has to be made to Profencing.
