This program is for students who have already been introduced to fencing through our introductory series. It continues to teach fencing in a fun and structured environment. The program stresses physical development using strength, coordination, and flexibility building games. In addition, listening and concentration skills will improve. Students will continue to receive group instruction in foot and hand work, bladework, and fencing others (bouting). After few months into the program students will have the opportunity to compete at local competitions. All equipment is provided, but students are encouraged to eventually acquire their own.
You will receive a pass for a package of 10 group lessons. Class meets once a week and you can fence for up to two hours. Includes rental of equipment . But we strongly recommed to buy your own for healthy and safety reasons. Members can fence any other day of the week for free.
